Cassette Jam Retrospect

First of all, I apologise for this being a little late. As a rule I try and do retrospects and post mortems after I've released the project, however things got very busy for me IRL.

Secondly, like the Scholar jam, this post is going to be another retrospect of the jam rather than a look at the project itself because it isn't completely done.

The jam itself should have been a relatively easy affair for me. It had a forgiving deadline and the limitations should stop me from over complicating things. The problem, for those who have not read my previous posts, is I cannot manage my own time effectively to save my own life. Pair that with the fact that this month has been more than a little chaotic for me, and you have a recipe for disaster.

Despite that though; I'm really happy with the result. It is not a masterpiece, sure, but I achieved what I set out to do, make a light weight TRPG inspired by FIST that can fit in a cassette box. I opted to try and make two business card booklets, mostly as a test and because it felt like the easiest way I could make a physical copy because my brain can't cope with the idea of folding stuff for some irrational reason. While I wasn't able to make a printable version in time for the deadline, I will make a a printable version in the not too distant future. I might make some slight visual tweaks and maybe pick a different name, however most of Goblins and Gears will remain.

For now I'm going to take a quick rest, and then get something together for spooky season's blogpost.

In the meantime, whoever you are, take care and I'll see you soon.
